3:00 PM Buses leave for the Henry Miller Library* (You will not be able to drive.)
4:00 PM Guests arrive at Henry Miller Library
4:30 PM Ceremony (pictures immediately following)
5:00 PM Cocktail Hour
6:00 PM Dinner
8:00 PM Dancing, Playing & Singing >> There will be a stage and some instruments available—ukulele & guitars
* Bus Pickup Location is Starbucks at the Carmel Crossroads. Please note that you will not be able to drive to the event. We are providing shuttles for transportation for your relaxation and enjoyment of the drive along the Big Sur coast. We are required by the library to provide transportation, as the Library has no parking. Please also note that there will be little to no cell signal. Therefore, Uber and Lyft are not reliable options. While we expect most people will stay in the Pacific Grove / Monterey / Carmel area, if you stay in Big Sur please secure transportation that will not require parking, as that will not be possible.
Childcare
Please note that for immediate / close family members with small children we will have onsite child care. While we’d like to offer this to all of our guests, we are not able to due to limited transportation. Friends of ours provide services for weddings and other events. Their business is called “Whale Hello!” and the caretakers are certified and have taken care of children for many years.
For parents with small children who prefer to leave earlier than the 10:00 PM return time we will make separate arrangements with you. Just let us know when you RSVP or Contact Us!
